Danny's Final Thoughts on Peace Summit

I believe that all of the proposals that were passed would lead to peace but I am not sure that peace would last. The Israelis should give back British-mandated Palestine. There will not be lasting peace because it never has lasted all these years, especially because they both want the same land. I understand and side with the agreements, especially the one's that said that the American aid would go to victims of violence not to the military, and that aid should be equal to both sides. I also think the Palestinians should have the same rights as the Israelis. Possibly one solution over the turmoil about Jerusalem would make it into a city-state so no one owned it outright. It could be similar to Vatican City, but it wouldn't be walled off. Jerusalem would rule itself and have its own government. Palestinians and Israelis would need a peace treaty and then would have representatives in the government they would create. They should both have equal rights and votes. The Israelis should give back the land they have taken, as they are not using all of the land. Many Palestinians still have the keys to their houses and the deeds to their land, so coming back would be getting back what already belongs to them.
