Maya's Final Thoughts on Peace Summit
I believe that if we keep endorsing the conflict in the Middle East, things will become really bad in the future. Our generation and the next ones after that are responsible for changing what is happening and making our world a better place. We could always say that we will take care of it later and that it's not the most important thing right now, but what is? We say that even though killing someone here for committing a crime is unjust, out there they are killing adults and kids every day just for existing because someone says that there can't be a solution for the wars.
We say that mistakes happen and sometimes people die, but, really, how would it be for you if one day the walls around you came tumbling down as you were yelled at and shot for for getting too close to a lifeless body of a friend that you just saw murdered for tossing a rock? Some say that the U.S.A. is at fault here for helping Israel, and even though I'm not saying that's not the case, I still believe that everyone is playing their own little role in the conflict.
