Ethan's Final Thoughts on Peace Summit
I think there was a bit of a pattern with the voting. I liked how we had to vote in character. Moishe
rejected a lot of Palestinian proposals and excepted most of the Israeli proposals. I think in the movie Promises Moishe wants peace and believes that not all Palestinians are bad, but he still does not like them. I think the Moishe group in our class did very well to be accurate on what Moishe would say in real life. When there were proposals by Moishe where he said, "This is our land, and the Palestinians should go somewhere else," a lot of the groups voted against the proposals. In the movie Moishe and Mahmoud were the ones who really hated each other's religion. I think there was a big difference between both of those groups.
