CC's Final Thoughts on Peace Summit

I believe in peace. I believe in equal rights between everyone in Israel and Palestine. The funny thing is, it's not happening, but it needs to. When you look at the conflict, you think to yourself, Why don't they just stop fighting? but its much more complicated. If you look again, you see that in order to be able to do that they both have to get what they want. Unfortunately, this is completely impossible. The thing that could solve all of this is something that both of them want—to find a way to compromise. That's easy to say, but like I explained before, it is much more complicated. In the movie Promises, before the children meet each other, they demonstrated prejudice by judging the other children by what had affected their family, even though the children did no wrong. It is so important to make sure the children get along so that Israel and Palestine can have a better future.
