An Interview with Faraj
Question 1: What rights should the Palestinian refugees have?
The Palestinian refugees should be able to have rights to go into Israel, and they should have to have a basic security check, like the ones they have in airports. They shouldn't need a visa to go back into their own land!
Question 2: What should be the status of Jerusalem?
I think Jerusalem should be an independent holy city that each country can share. An alternative solution is giving east Jerusalem to Palestine and west Jerusalem to Israel and have free passage in between.
Question 3: What should be the status of the West Bank and Gaza, currently occupied by Israel?
I think Gaza should be returned to Egypt, and we should split Israel, including the West Bank, down the middle, with the eastern half being an independent Palestinian state and the westerb half becoming Israel. I also think the Golan Heights should be returned to Syria after the violence and corruption in Syria ends.
Question 4: Should the United States give aid to either the Palestinians or the Israelis? or both?
The aid the US should give should only be water, medical supplies, food, and clothes. They should give these supplies to both Palestine and Israeli.
Question 5: What additional ideas or proposals can you make to bring about a peace and just solution to the Israel-Palestine crisis?
In the Middle East, the Israelis and the Palestinians should share land, in peace. Anyone who wants to cause disruption should go elsewhere!

I think that this is a great plan for peace! Good job!
ReplyDeleteI think that this is a great plan for peace and I learned that Faraj might have thought that he didn't want to meet an Israeli kid but when they met they became friends and realized that they have the same interestes even though they are on different sides of the checkpoints.
