I know that people in Palestine and Israel have been killed. I understand that both sides get mad at each other, but I believe that the way to achieve peace is not by using violence. The kids in Palestine and Israel are raised to believe that the other side is bad news. It is up to the parents to make sure that the kids are getting to be friends with Palestinians and Israelis, Jewish and Muslim. If an Israeli kid grows up with Palestinian friends, then there is absolutely no chance that they will end up hating Palestinians. Same with Palestinians. Israeli kids aren't any different than Palestinians. They are both the same, and if they can understand that, they can understand that there are ways to end this conflict. I believe that if the children can be friends, that those children will be friends in the future, and kids will realize that they don't need to hate each other, and that peace can be an option after all.A collaboration between Catlin Gabel School and schools in Michigan and Romania for the NAIS Challenge 20/20 program. ReplyDeleteI like all the positive things that you said about trying to bring the Palestinains and Isrealis together.
ReplyDeleteThis is really good! I agree that the kids are no different from one another and that they're the future.
ReplyDeleteGood pics, I like the positive attitude.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great idea! I can see what you mean!
ReplyDeleteI love all the hope and the ideas to help the hope. I also loved and learned that you put your perspective in this and you talked about how both sides were the same, and they both can't hate a Palestinian if they become freinds (and visa verse)
ReplyDeleteI agree that both sides are having trouble and being killed but they just have to understand each other
ReplyDeleteThis has a great ending! The pictures really make sense with the article. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteThe Syria's problems can be ameliorated by some kids of the sixth grade. But not only humans can do noble things. Is so sad that the children who live in Israel and Palestine must endure all those wars.
