An Interview with Shlomo
1. What rights should the Palestinian refugees have?
I think they should be able to go wherever they want, that is, as long as they get checked for guns and other weapons first.
2. What should be the status of Jerusalem?
I think that neither the Palestinians nor the Israelis should have all of it. Both of them do bad things and I think they should just have two sides for each religion. Also, Israelis should not have a parade when they go to Jerusalem. I like to dream about if the Arabs left.
3. What should be the status of the West Bank and Gaza, currently occupied by Israel?

It would be so much easier if the Palestinians left. After all, the Arabs have 22 countries, and the Jews only have one. They could relocate to other countries, like Syria, Lebanon, or Egypt. I believe that both sides have done bad things, but the Jews deserve Jerusalem more. I realize that, unlike most of the Palestinians, I wasn't born here. This is my homeland, yet it isn't. I don't really have a homeland, but I like to think of Israel as mine.
4. Should the U.S. give aid to either the Israelis or Palestinians- or to both of them? If so, what kind of aid?
I think that the U.S should not give aid to either religion. I know many people would disagree, but I think that each side has done violence equally, and we should not help either of them. Maybe we should send some doctors down to Israel so the bombings will not kill as many people, and Jews will have a chance to survive after terrorist attacks on a bus or a car just like Moishe's friend.
5. What additional ideas or proposals can you make to bring about a peace and just solution to the Israeli- Palestinian crisis?
I think that there should be a neutral territory between the two sides, so they would be well separated. There would be less attacks by both sides. I talked to Sanabel, and she said that we each experienced the same thing, so we should become friends. I didn't want much to do with the Palestinians, but now I think I might be open to meeting some.
